A Collection of Bespoke Bedrooms

In each one of our beautiful bespoke bedrooms, bold statement prints and mismatched textures are the order of the day. You’ll find rich mahogany leathers, carpets woven with seagrass, and bathroom floors covered in vibrant patterned tiles.

One-off artworks, antiques and artefacts add splashes of colour, while little luxuries including Bramley toiletries and our round-the-clock service all help make an already indulgent Cotswolds getaway that little bit more special.

All of the bedrooms at No.38 The Park are dog friendly. Plus, we’ll be at your beck and call from the moment you book your stay. From organising arrival Champagne and booking your cut and blow dry, to replacing forgotten phone chargers and picking up mascara, our team have got it covered.

Join us this spring and summer for a topped-up two-night stay for two. We’ll welcome you with a summer-in-a-cup Hugo Spritz, you’ll spend two nights in an uber-comfy bed and we’ll spot you a table in the restaurant for a properly good meal on either night. Oh, and there’s brekkie on both mornings, too (in bed, if you like).

Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Cheltenham?

We’re absolutely smitten with Cheltenham – it’s bursting with excitement at every turn. We reckon a two-night stay hits the sweet spot. But hey, if you’re thinking of staying a bit shorter, no worries – you’ll still have a blast (we pinky promise). Just brace yourself for that sneaky desire to extend your stay for another night.

And if you’re planning to hang around longer than a couple of nights, well, buckle up. We’re here to ensure that Cheltenham becomes your latest go-to spot. One you’ll rave about to all your pals.

What are the best things to do in Cheltenham?

Choosing where to begin can be a challenge because let’s face it, Cheltenham is overflowing with things to do. If you happen to be here on race day, don’t miss the chance to experience the buzz at Cheltenham Racecourse, it’s a total must-see. But if you’re in the mood for a more relaxed vibe with some sightseeing thrown in, you can’t go wrong with Pittville Park. It’s the largest ornamental park in town, and the best part? It’s right on our doorstep.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our gorgeous hotel lounge to sit back, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am daily.

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got lots of family-friendly bedrooms. We can also add cots for the littlest of guests, or fold-out beds (for the bigger little ones) to your room on request. Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Four-legged friends are some of our favourite guests (and our King Charles Spaniel, Autumn always loves making new friends) so naturally, lots of our rooms are dog-friendly.

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pooches can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We have a limited number of spots right out front but (including one EV charging point), if you don’t manage to snag one of those, fret not – park your wheels on Wellington road and let reception know – we’ll set you up with a temporary parking permit.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re a 10- minute cab ride from Cheltenham Spa train station. You can usually find cabs just outside the station and you’ll be with us in a jiffy.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
